The Seiko Presage Sharp Edged SPB169J1 is a watch that embraces Japanese design and culture with a very wearable and simply beautiful watch. The inspiration behind dial is the Japanese Asanoha or hemp leaf pattern, which has been used in Japanese designs since the Heian period - well over a thousand years ago. The fibers that make up the stem were originally used to manufacture fabrics. The pattern of the leaf symbolizes strong, rapid growth and health, especially in young people. The sharp geometric pattern and rich texture of the dials creates a continuously changing image as light plays across them at different angles.. Truly mesmerising and beautiful.
